my mom's been really freaking out about how i have a low c in science, even though i've been trying my hardest in that class. i do all my homework, and i study really hard for every test. only...my teacher is freakin evil! most of the stuff on our reviews aren't even on the test, and most of the stuff on the test isn't on the reviews. stuff like that is what's keeping me from making a higher grade. i've already told my mom that that's the reason i'm making such a low grade, and ive also told her how even the smartest people in our class are making Bs. she just doesnt understand! i suck at science, and that's all there is to it. i just don't know how to make her lighten up on me about my 1 bad grade, and focus on my 6 other really good grades.

I've got a crappy science teacher (maybe the same one! :D) and i usually make b's in there... anyways, i'd talk to your teacher, first of all. go in for tutoring in the morning and figure out what you're doing in class that day and if you've got any missing assignments/whether you can make them up. best thing to do is find out what chapters you're studying, and read the BOOK instead of only taking notes. it usually has everything that's on the tests and that kind of thing. as long as you're honestly trying your hardest, no one can't expect anything more of you. IM me on TobleroneKiddo if you need more advice!
