you should tell her how you feel and asks her if she has any feeling for you. you should also tell her that you would never hurt her and no matter what you will always be friends

Well, from my own expieriance, i will tell you this. I had a friend he was my best friend. We grew up together. I one day thought the same as you, so i told him how i felt. And he was shocked because he felt the same. So we dated we were together for 3 years then we made a big step. We got married, but we had already had our ups and downs. We got married anyway, we noticed in eachother that we were not the same friends as we were all those years before. be carefull

This is a tough situation. First of all, you need to be pretty sure she feels the same way towards you. If she doesn't, and you ask her out, it will probably make your friendship awkward. Second of all, you need to ask yourself these questions:
- If this ever developed into a relationship, would it work out?
- Is this worth risking my friendship over?
Be completely honest! If you're confident in the answer to the questions above, and you've looked at the risks of asking a best friend out but decided its worth it, then go ahead.
