ok this guy i like alot, first we were pretty good friends and would talk on the internet but then we stopped talking after a while and anyways im not tellin my whole story, it's too complicated. but we have a dance next saturday and i was wondering i if just asked him if he was gonna go to the dance would i be weird? he knows i like him and its kinda akward b/c im so shy. b/c if i ask him and he knows i like him hed probly think that im asking him... lol sorry if its confusing.. what should i do

Talking to a guy who knows you like him and when you're shy can be quite complicated. I know its hard but you need to overcome your fear.
Asking him if he's going to the dance or not doesn't make you weird, you're just curious. When asking him this make sure you two are having a casual conversation. Make sure in the middle of the conversation so you don't look desperate. If he says yes ask him casually as though you don't really care what he answers if he wants to go with you or not if you're up to doing it. But if he says he's not going to the dance ask him why and try to persuade him to go a bit. But don't make it sound like you want need him to come or anything.
