Hmm, well let me ask you this...why do you even care. You need to focus on doing whatever the heck you want and what makes you happiest in life. The United States serves as this huge melting pot which is contrived of people from all different backgrounds, cultures, and races. We are all different and unique in our own way. Be a leader, not a follower. So what if people, don't get it! The only think to get is that you like rock and you skateboard. That's awesome! I wish I could skateboard! Punk is cool. Be an individual. Be yourself. You should continue doing what you love to do and break the mold of that sterotypical "I like r&b or hip hop or whaterver". People will respect you in the long run if you proudly show what you stand for. Live it up! :)
