He wants the reason
Okay, so, I like my best friend, but he has a gf...we dont live in the same state, and hes always calling me hot, and beautiful and precious and cute and everything, and I asked him not to do it, and he got mad at me, and now hes "bugged" by it and told me hes not gonna be the same around him until i tell him the reason....well the reason is that I dont want him saying it because it hurts me hearing it and not being able to HAVE him...but he cant know that. So what do I do??? Hes mad at me :(

Tell him to buzz off. You know you want him but CANT HAVE HIM He lives in a different stae and relationships like that suck. Find another man! There are lots of us out there.

you should tell him truthfully. if he is your best friend then you should be able to tell him everything. just tell him that you like him and that it hurts you because you know he has a girlfriend and that he is leading you on by it. or if you are not ready for him to know, and you are willing to put yourself through the aggrivation of having to talk to him and him not knowing how you really feel about him, then just blame it on his girlfriend. tell him you feel awkward in a way because of his girlfriend and that you dont think it is right to be saying tha to you. but then if you want to find out how he feels about you, then just ask why, you say those or something because you like me? or something like that in a jokingly way and then when he answers your about it be like "no seriously, how do you really feel about me." and tell him to be honest. and if he says he likes you then you should tell him.

You should say to him "you have a gf and that's just leading me on to a false future". It bugs u that he leads you on because he has a gf and it could lead you on false thoughts. Ask him if he likes you and if he does don't admit you do. Ask if he wants to break up with his gf and become bf to you. Let him know he's playing with your mind and you don't appreciate it if he doesn't havr feeling for you like that. If that doesn't work tell him how you feel and see how that goes. Since he's out of state if he doesn't like you you two can just not talk anymore and everyone and go on with their own lives since you two don't live around each other.
