what exactly is Mardi Gras? and how is it celebrated? I know its coming up (feb 8) so im cutious because i`ll be away vacationing and i was curious how i can party it up lol. So if you can tell me what it is and how u celelbrate it thanks
AquamarineRose answered Sunday January 9 2005, 7:47 pm: I used ot live in Louisiana so I remember all the Mardi Gras spectaculars.Mardi Gras really means "Fat Tuesday" It's the day before Ash Wednesday.It's just a holiday to be happy and merry.It even has official colors...purple for justice...green for faith...and gold for power. Karen answered Sunday January 9 2005, 6:09 pm: In the United States, Mardi Gras is very popular in New Orleans, Louisiana. You celebrate it by dressing up and wearing masks and costumes. Girls usually flash themselves to guys in order to get beads. That;s basically what Mardi Gras is. Hope I helped :)

You can celebrate is by haveing everyone dress up with masks, jester hats, pogo sticks and more. (if you understand what im saying) Usually there is coctails and people just dancing have having fun nude for beads lol!
