Question Posted Saturday January 1 2005, 5:19 pm

Hi I am 14 and I really hate it when your freinds are attention seekers and always distort storys. I was just wondering what would you do in this situation if you were getting really annoyed with them. thanks

i completely know what you're talking about. i know some people like that and you're right--they can get VERY annoying. it's important to tell them how you feel, but in a nonthreatening way. Next time you hear them distorting a story say something like "i don't think thats exactly what happend. wasn't it..........?" if you don't know exactly what happend, question them, like "are you sure?" only if it really pushes you to the edge should you bring up their attention-seeking qualities. putting up with a few annoying things is better that breaking a friendship.

i really hope this was helpfull!!!!
if you have any more questions or want to reply, you know where to find me!!!!
