hey..i really hope you can help me with this. i used to be a good student in school but now my dad thinks im slacking off. he yells at me to where i cry my self to sleep and im trying to do the best i can but its hard. 1st quarter i got one of those bumper stickers for getting on the honor roll and i gave it to my dad but he wont put it on his truck cause he doesnt think i earned it. please help.

YuRsToBrEaKx3 answered Friday December 31 2004, 7:46 pm: Ha sorry i dont really have a clue who it is...but it sounds exactly like me! im going threw the exact same thing...My mom gets mad at me for getting a b...and i cry myself to school. ya stupid but its true...and it turned out i got an A in that class that same day for the end of the semester! it was crazy..i think the best thing to do if you really arent slacking off which i highly doubt you are slacking off, is sit down with your dad and talk to him about how you feel, and tell him that you're trying the hardest you can, and tell him you dont exactly appreciate him putting you down when you're doing the best you can, and if he doesnt think you deserve that honor roll he's wrong! they wouldnt have given you an honor roll bumper sticker if you didnt get good grades and didnt diserve it! i mean state the obvious...you got it, you diserved it. and im really sorry he's saying that stuff to you , i know exactly how it feels ! and good luck with talking to him about it !
