Well, you can't stop him from liking you, but he needs to understand that you don't like him. It really depends...if you just heard he likes you, that's okay- it's hard to get over a breakup, and maybe he's a little hurt. But if he's approaching you about it, you need to tell him you don't like him (politely- if all else fails, there's always the old "let's just be friends". If he's making you uncomfortable, tell someone, but otherwise just wait it out.
