There is no sertain age you do this at.you go once a year unless you think you could have some kind of disease when you had sex then you can go again. You just go to make sure your overies are ok and if you have been having sex to make sure u have not gotton a disease. I had to go when i lost my virginity and my mom found out so there is no sertain age when you have to go. it gets easier to go every time. Its not that bad also you can get your regular doctor sometimes to do the same thing as a gynocologist. [ sexygurl69's advice column | Ask sexygurl69 A Question ]

I think that I have covered all of the bases my friend and Fav columist could prolly help you further her name is SmoothiesFknRock.
beauteful_withn answered Monday December 27 2004, 2:49 am: the gyno checks to make sure that your vag is ok, like to make sure that there is no infection and no cancer. she also checks for breast cancer. it is not painful at all.. i actually couldnt feel anything, maybe a little pressure but thats it. you usually have to go once a year when youre older, however i have to go every 3 months for check ups on my birthcontrol. you can start at any age really, but usually about 16ish or so. some ppl dont go at all till they are adults. but i dont know, i was scared to go at first but im ok with it now. NEVERLETG00 answered Sunday December 26 2004, 11:04 pm: the gyno checks your vag area to see if you have had sex, and have any stds or anything like that. most people go after a few months of being sexually active or if you have had your period for a long time.. you should go to the gyno at least once a year, if sexually active. and it doesn't really hurt, all they do is use a thesiscope(spelling?) and just a few other things that shouldn't be painful at all. why do we go?! you want to know if you have stds dont you???? cuz if you do, you can give them to other partners and they can travel and you dont want that, and most dont go away either. well hope that you get the whole gyno thing, it just shows that your being responsible for your body. x0 [ NEVERLETG00's advice column | Ask NEVERLETG00 A Question ]
Karen answered Sunday December 26 2004, 10:43 pm: A gynocologist is a doctor who checks your health "down there". No, it's not painful, or at least I think it's not. Girls usually go when they're 18 years old (you have to go when you're 18 years old if you never went before) or once they are sexually active. The reason why we go is because we might have a sexually transmitted disease that we don't know "down there" or our doctors just want us to be checked, I guess. Hope I helped :)
