since 2nd grade!!!
i know it is long, but i need the help!
i have this friend that i really like that has been my best friend since second grade! his name is Dylan. he is kinda chuby. but that doesn't matter to me! i really think i am starting to develop a thing for him. the only prob is that i live in Kansas, and he lives where i used to live, Arizona. i am in 6 grade now. and he was the first friend i ever made when i moved to AZ. i really really lik him! i got a phone call from him last night and i haven't seen him or talked to him for like 9 months. and out of the blu he jjust called me. i really miss him ! what should i do? plez help if you haven't alresdy fell asleep!

1.) 6th grade - Im only in 8th but still. You don`t need to worry about this. YOu have a lot to live for and a lot goin for you cept boys.

3.) Long distance: never work

mk 1. your in 6th grade and you really dont need to worry about this. 2. long distance relationships NEVER work out. 3. If you never get to see him whats the point of "going out" w/ him, and how would it be any different than if you just were friends. I hate how youngins call it "going out", when they dont do anything. Also, if your already friends than dont ruin that by going out w/ him and then breaking up (which is pretty much inevitable) and then when u break up your not gonna have that same friendship.. ANYWAY DONT DO IT.

dont worry i didnt fall asleep! okay what you should do is phone him more often and see if you can go on a vacation there this summer to see all your old friends and maybe dylan relized he liked you too and thats why he called but talk to him and maybe you can see him soon and before i forget flirt a lil too and try to drop hints that you like him also bring up memories you had together in the past, hoped it helped

Well, I dont think you have a thing for him. You are probably just excited to see him. It isn't <i>LOVE</I> or anything. It is probably something as little as a crush.

talk to him more and more and you guys couuld still keep in touch. I dontknow if you couuld have a relationship for a couple reasons. You're in 6th grade, and not to sound annoyin but i dont kno if ur ready for a relationship wit some kid..althought you could become good friends wit him and see what happens later on and just stay friends til ur a little older. SEcond reason, is that you guys live pretty far away so if you did have osmething going on..it'd b long distance and those are always tough. My advice for now is just continute keeping in touch by emails and fone and and just take one day at a time :)

keep in touch with him, if you really like himand hes a good friend then hes worth keeping! you never know what can happen. as for having a thing for him, you might or it just might be that you miss him. but keep your options open since you dont live by him. hope i helped
