The best present is something they want or something about their personality which will suit them. Because then not only will they get what they want but it'll tug at the heart strings when they get it. So really we can't tell you if you want to get the best gift.
So to make the present look like its more make it suit his personality- does he play any sports? Is he into computer games? What's his favourite food? Or maybe just organise a special evening for him- with his favourite movie and his favourite food, make it sweet and I'm sure he'll love it.
