ok you have snare thats the smaller drum that rattles, you have toms in various sizes most sets have 2 or 3 one of those is a floor tom. you have bass drum. a hihat cymbal, a ride cymbal, crash and china cymbal then you can also add accesories such as cowbell, bongos, and various percussion toys ]
Hey there drummer...lol
Well here are the instrument names:

A basic drumset consists of 1 Snare drum, 1 Bass drum, 2 toms, 1 floor tom, 1 hi hat (cymbals touching each other thats gives you a 'sizzling' sound) 1 ride cymbal, and 1 crash cymbal.
I would go to www.vicfirth.com to learn basic drumming techniques. Its best you learn rudiments and stick control to make yourself a better drummer. I too taught myself how to drum and ive come a long way. I wish you the best of luck and if you ever have any drum questions send one to my inbox. I know much about drumming since I am studying Percussion in college right now...heh. ]
depends on what you have, a good beginner is a 5 set though, normally with a snare, bass drum, a high hat, a crash, and a tom, but thats not always how it is. i dont know any sites because i play guitar not drums, but im sure you could just google drum help or something and youll find something easily. ]
The basic drum set consists of 1 snare drum, 1 bass drum, 1 hi-tat, 3 or 4 toms, and 2 symbols.
the only reason i no tht is because i play drums and it hard it looks easy but it is not!
unless u have played for a long time, or practice alot. ]
