Question Posted Thursday November 25 2004, 12:07 am
for xanga where would you get a url for music? i wanna put the song I hate everything about you by 3 days grace but idk what they mean by url.. maybe someone could just give it to me so i could copy and paste please =)
also you could just click the link i just gave you and it would bring you to Windows Media Player. From there Right click the song, go down to properties and chose that. Then go to the bottom and copy and paste that.
(Sorry, I was going to just GIVE you the url, but it was messing with the format of my site! hehe)...All right, right click the song title>>properties>>copy and paste the address (URL)>>paste into appropriate place...there you have it!
It's a really good site..scroll down on it, there are SO many songs!
Then, where it says "Play" next to the name of the song that you want, right click it. Then click "Properties" all the way at the bottom the menu-thing that comes up. A box will come up. The last thing it says on the box is "Address (URL)". Look at that, there should be a URL next to it. That's the URL for the song. Highlight the whole thing and paste it into the music section in "Look and Feel" on your Xanga. **When you highlight the URL from that box, make sure you pull your mouse all the way down, so you don't miss any of the URL, because it could be 'hiding' underneath the other part..** Hope that wasn't too confusing, good luck :P

If your talking about the midi file, All you do is right click the shortcut where you can click to play the music. Real easy ;). So you right click it and select "Copy Shortcut" Then you take that and paste it into where it says url (url: adress of site)
Hope I helped ;)
