Try something like "Look, I think you're a really nice person and all, but I'm not interested in dating anyone right now". I mean, don't lie about it, just tell them the truth. Chances are, most people will respect your honesty more than some B.S. (which is usually obvious, not to mention stupid). Plus, you may end up liking the person later on, in which case you'll be glad you were honest. [ theblondeone989's advice column | Ask theblondeone989 A Question ]
Imari answered Monday November 22 2004, 10:06 pm: just effing tell them the truth ... say you don't like them ... and don't say it to a mutual friend or anything, say it right to them, because otherwise they'll be bitter that you didn't tell them yerself [ Imari's advice column | Ask Imari A Question ]
