the drugs in question are legal, OTC drugs, but my boyfriend is completely over-reacting on the matter. they are harmless but he has some kind of paranoia about them. what should i tell him to ease his fears so i can expand my mind?
HunniBunni answered Friday November 19 2004, 4:42 pm: NO DRUGS ARE GOOD DRUGS, I have nothing to say about calming your boyfriends fears because I totally agree with him, I mean doing drugs is basically thorwing your life away, I have never been in the position of drugs and hopefully I never will, it really can hurt you and mess up with your head. I mean I'm not saying DONT DO IT OR YOU'LL DIE! but i mean it's not good for you, but if you want to try things out you can just to know how it feels, it helps. But truly if you feel that you want to do those drugs then go ahead and do it, just in my opinion, it's no use [ HunniBunni's advice column | Ask HunniBunni A Question ]
frenchy answered Friday November 19 2004, 4:18 pm: hey! maybe he's right by not wanting you to do drugs. even though they are harmless, that does not mean that you should take it. hes just trying to protect you from them. maybe talk to him about it and see how it goes, and if he still doesnt want you to do them, just tell yourself that hes thinking about whats best for you. hope i helped, peace and love! BotheredAndBroken13 answered Friday November 19 2004, 2:45 pm: I know exactly what you mean! My bf broke up with me over the Summer because I tried a cigarette ONCE. Anyways, I'm not going to lecture on how you shouldn't do drugs. Most people eventually try something, just know that it's dangerous. SInce he cares about you enough to over react, try to cut down on the drugs that you are doing. But tell him it's not that big of a deal and you're careful. Nobody's perfect, but try to sit down and explain to him that you're not addicted, unless of course you are and that way he's absolutely correct to freak out, but that you're only trying it because you're curious. Hope I helped you. :) [ BotheredAndBroken13's advice column | Ask BotheredAndBroken13 A Question ]

storageanddisposal answered Friday November 19 2004, 1:51 pm: Just because they're over-the-counter drugs doesn't mean they're harmless. Just tell him it's your body and you are the one who makes the choices concerning it. If you want to fuck it up to "expand your mind", it's your choice to do so. What are the drugs in question, and to what degree are they being used? How do you know that they are harmless? Why are you taking them?
