I've heard that we shouldn't drink while eating. Is it true?

Who told you that? Don't believe everything you hear. I've never heard such a thing in my life and I can't see why it would be true. I consider drinking a good way to wash down the food and I don't see how it would cause any harm to do so. But was this even a serious question? ;)
