i have a knee problem - osgood schlatters. does anyone know anything that i could do to help it not hurt [as much]? i'm a runner and i have a knee brace and i ice it if it hurts a bunch but are there any stretches that i could do that might help? thanx :D

umm ne thing that makes you knee stronger(the tendents and ligament around it) but try to stay away from squats.

Stretches. Just do knee stretches like touch your toes standing. Umm sit down pull ur legs out touch ur toes. Then massage ur knee.Take alot of advil. Umm lots of water. :)

I have the same knee problem too. I could barely run after the first week I got it. It was very hard for me to do gymnastics which at the time i was doing 9 hours a week. Now I do 14 and my knee hardly ever bothers me because I didn't wear a knee brace and my muscles got stronger. Sorry if that didn't make a lot of sense. If you see a doctor they will usually tell you to live with it or quit the sport.

Yea hun believe me i kno wuht ur going thru take a nice hot shower before a run and if it does hurt to much to run start off walking and streching ur leg gradually ur leg will get tonz better and u will be able to run
