Mount Shasta...

im doing a project on volcanoes. i know all the websites to go to, its just that i cant find specific answers!...i need to know:

1. Is Lake Shasta right next to Mt. Shasta?
2. When was the 1st and last time Mt.Shasta erupted?
3. Is Mt. Shasta still active?

Dude, google is a goldmine for everything.

According to that map, it doesn't look like it is right next to the lake.

2. The only known eruption of this volcano was in 1786. (Meaning, it could have erupted before and they believe it erupted every 600 years in the last 4,500 years.)

3. It is considered dormant.
