i told my boyfriend i was holding this guys hand as a friend and he said he dont get how you can hold someones hand as a friends..does anyone else kno a way of explaining that??

you were holding the guyz hand not making out with him!! I can defanintly be the jealous type myself. Watch what you do with you guy friends. You may think its jus friend stuff but to others it may look like more then friends! holding hands is nothin big but jus watch urself! and jus explain to ur boyfriend that you didnt mean to get him upset. and you wouldnt hurt him like that. i hope that made sence and helped!

I think your boyfriend was just a little hurt that you were holding someone else's hand, rather than his. Just explain to him that you really like him, and would never want to hurt him, MAKE him understand it was just a 'friendly' thing! :)

its not that he doesnt trust you. its that he doesnt trust the other guy... but if you were only friends then it shouldnt matter, but dont you get jealous of your boyfriend? so just tell him you wont let it happen again?

If you have a boyfriend and you are holding another guy's hand, even if it's "just as friends", it's not right. How would you feel if you saw your boyfriend holding another girl's hand right in front of you? I know that if I saw my boyfriend doing that I would NOT be a very happy camper. Just keep your boyfriend's feelings in mind when you think about doing something like that, because he should be the only guy you hold hands with.
