ok first big hug to you...

is he on any meds?

if not he NEEDS to get on some. Lots of different levels of OCD...you would NOT beleieve how mnay adults have this.

So he has got to elivaiate the anxiety he feels every day.

It will take a while until you get the right combination..but it will get rid of some.

I would go on webmd and type in OCd and see what else you can find on it. Hopefully you have seen the doctor by now and he is on something

watch him carefully..every medicicne has different effects on different people..so if you feel he is getting wors on a medication..get him to the doctor and they will try somethng else...

ok...am thinking of you

Education about OCD is important for the family. Families can learn specific ways to encourage the person with OCD to adhere fully to behavior therapy and/or pharmacotherapy programs. Self-help books are often a good source of information. Some families seek the help of a family therapist who is trained in the field. Also, in the past few years, many families have joined one of the educational support groups that have been organized throughout the country. (this is from a website)

there are a view good websites you can look at. If you're still curious or these websites didnt' answer ur ?'s try googling OCD. I'm sry about you're kid and try getting a therapist for him. Good luck, hope ur kid gets better.

The doctor should accept you right away if it is an emergency! I'm located in Cali and they take you in even if you dont have an appointment. Call 911 or take him to the emergency room! You should watch him closely!

GOOD LUCK

Maybe he has an anxiety problem..He maybe Co-dependent on you and, may need you because hes afraid you'll leave him. Tell him that its ok you may need to sit him down and look him in his face and, tell him that everything will be ok explain it to him. There is nothing wrong with having OCD its very common and, is not a bad thing. Trust me.....I hope everything gets better and, I hope I helped...**D**
