Hi everyone,
I am seeking for an advise from you for the following situation I have encountered. I was working for a company X, who gave me health insurance and used to cut $200 from each (monthly) pay for insruance. My wife underwent surgery in 2003 and there was a bill of $1350 from an Anaesthesist. Insurance company didnt pay this bill. WHen I asked, they said that this was self funded insurance and my employer (Company X) needs to pay this bill. Now I am not with company X. I sent a couple of mails to company X regarding this pending bill, but they are not responding. I am not in a position to pay $1350. This matter has been already reported to credit bureau. I am trying to buy more time to resolve this issue and to save my credit history. I would appreicate your suggestion on this. Thanks. MACHADS
