Just go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and type in the question: Does the sense of sight and smell affect the way food tastes to us? I can't really give you a valid explanation but this: My mom's sinuses are so bad that she can't smell. Because of that, she can't taste anything. I hope this helps. Also, try the search engine at yahoo and google and type in sight and smell. Ask.com is probably your best bet. ]
I'm not sure about any websites, but I do know that sight and smell totally affect the way food tastes to us. For example, I heard that Mcdonalds uses the colour red and yellow because it looks appealing to us and makes us want to eat, but if they would've used a colour like purple and brown, would you want to eat there? Not really....I know this doesn't answer your question, but it's kind of interesting to think about...~good luck~ ]
