i have a science fair project im working on and the problem is: does the sense of sight and smell affect the way food tastes to us?
does anybody know any good websites where i can research stuff like this? thanx a lot
AnGeLtHuGsTa answered Saturday October 16 2004, 12:10 am: I'm not sure about any websites, but I do know that sight and smell totally affect the way food tastes to us. For example, I heard that Mcdonalds uses the colour red and yellow because it looks appealing to us and makes us want to eat, but if they would've used a colour like purple and brown, would you want to eat there? Not really....I know this doesn't answer your question, but it's kind of interesting to think about...~good luck~ [ AnGeLtHuGsTa's advice column | Ask AnGeLtHuGsTa A Question ]
