How do I stop the rumors?
Okay...I went out w/ this guy who (I'll call Bobby) 3 months ago. We have remained really close friends, and I really don't want anything else w/ him right now. Well, a couple weeks ago I found out about this girl Bobby likes...so I told him to go out with her. They're going out now.
Well, anyway, people are always coming up to me now and saying that they know I like Bobby when I don't....how can I stop them from thinking this? Now Bobby thinks I like him! argh! I don't like him and I don't know why everyone thinks I do...I don't want his girlfriend to think I like him (because I don't) and because she is my friend :o/

people in school spread rumors tahts just how it works. they get some kind of sick joy our of ruining your life. best thing i can advise you to do is get a boyfriend that could help. or you could get a girlfriend lol then no one will think you like him. you could always just talk to him since you are friends and all.

well, dont pay attetion to what people think. tell him you dont like him. just as a really good friend. and explain that to his girlfriend. i can understnad where you coming from and where there coming from. i was in the same sitution, no matter what happens with him you guys will still always be friends. his girlfriend is just probally jelous, cause you guys did go out.

Well sit down Bobby and his girlfriend and straight up tell them that you do not like Bobby. And just tell everyone else the same. If this doesn't work then just ignore it.

You won't be able to stop the rumors. One way is to embaress Bobby completely and yell at him sayin you don't like him in front of everyone, but that is pretty mean. Unless, you really want to do that go for it. LOL. The main thing to do is go up to Bobby and tell him face to face you don't like him and it's just a rumor. The only thing you can do is tell everyone straight up that you don't like Bobby. When everyone hears what you say, the will stop because they now know that you don't like Bobby. Also, just talk to your friend/Bobby's girlfriend that you don't like Bobby and when she does hear the rumor that you like Bobby, she will then know that you don't! Hope I helped :)
