well to answer a semi- part of your question :

some times girls just have irregular periods and are just gentically made like that. err.. yeah i'm making girls sound like robots but i'm serious (lol ). some girls will have occasional irregular periods.. others dont.. and others just constnatly have irregular periods no matter what. You might want to talk to your mom and see how hers went when she was younger (or if she still goes through them). your family history may play a role in this. if not then you can consult your doctor and talk to her/him about it and see what information you can get out of puberty and all that great junk. also besides the theory that your periods just come irregulary..there are alot of factors that can determine when/how long your period comes. mainly (since you're an 8th grader) i'd say is stress... that can control when you have your periods and for how long. also how fit you are. sometimes girls that are really athletic say they barely even feel it or have them. don't worry.. you're not a "freak" or something.. i bet you a billion other girls have gone through what you're going through. :)

consult a doctor.... this is a very strange pattern and there's probably something funky going on in your system. Nothing to be worried about, but im sure the doctor will get you back on track. gl xoxo

Hey hun. Well, the good news is not to worry. There is nothing wrong with you. It is VERY common to have an irregular period for even the first 5-6 years of having a period. Also, somethings the activities you take part in change your cycle's pattern as well. (Ie: swimming, running, sex, etc). And it's also okay for you to have a 2 day period. Periods can range from anywhere to a day to 2 weeks and sometimes more, yikes. Just be thankful your isn't like that. Mine's late all the time-it's no big deal. But, if you feel like there is truly something wrong with you, tell your mom and make an appointment for a doctor. :)

Well, if you're physically active then you're period will be irregular. For example if you play a sport, it will be late. Also if you're stressed about something it could cause it from coming also. Unless you're sexually active as in having sex or something, then it's something to worry about. If not, then you'll be fine. If you're THAT worried about it, go to your doctor. It's nothing. You worrying about it isn't going to make it better. Hope this helped.
