Just eat HEALTHY in small portions and do 50 crunches every night and you'll lose about 5-10 pounds in a month. Hope this helped. [ xXxpinky615xXx's advice column | Ask xXxpinky615xXx A Question ]
FrEe2bMe answered Monday October 11 2004, 12:02 pm: Hey there. Well, a good friend of mine was 300 lbs and he went on the Atkins Diet and about 2 months later he was about 185. So, the diet does work. The only bad thing is, Atkins revolves around the fact that you take in ZERO carbs. It also promotes you to eat fatty meats and cheeses which are bad for your heart and cholesteral. So, once you get off the diet, you gain all the weight back because your body goes crazy when it has a carb.
I think if oyu are interested in loosing weight and want to do a low carb kinda thing you should try the South Beach Diet. See SouthBeachDiet.com for more info.
It's a low carb diet which for the 1st phase (1st 2 weeks) is just like Atkins in that it allows no carbs, then the 2nd phase you add back in the good carbs, (EX: fruits, sweet veggies, etc). Then by the 3rd phase you pick the carbs you want to eat so that it now becomes a part of your lifestlye. You want crave as much of the carbs oyu use to and you'll appreciate what carbs you do it in moderation. There are tons of books out there on it. I suggest getting the small hand carry south beach book because it gives you a list of what you can't and can eat and how many carbs things have and how much of them you can eat, also, it gives you meal plans that you can even switch around. Another thing, you may want to watch the FoodNetwork and Watch a show called "Low Carb and Lovin' it" The guy cooks all low carb stuff and teaches you good tips and tricks on how to survive. Log on to foodtv.com and click on shows "low carb and lovin it" for more info. Best of luck! :)
Oops I forgot: I think the best excersice for oyu would to be just to run or walk 1ce or 2ce a day. Like walk through your neighborhood or run or run/walk on a tred mill. That's a good way to get your heart circulating nad to stay in shape. :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
