Shaving Question

Question Posted Sunday October 10 2004, 9:42 pm

Hello,

I'm 16 and of course a female. I have been shaving "down there" for the past few weeks now. I use shaving cream so yeah. I have been using some Deodorant Body Powder to keep from getting bumps and itching. Well it appears to be working great so far. Does this sound safe to keep doing? Could this cause a infection somehow?

Just makes sure you don't get any cream or powder in yourself, and you should be fine. Also, be careful of any nicks you cause while shaving, as getting cream or powder in them might cause an infection. If you do nick yourself, try putting an anti-ceptic cream in the wound and try to avoid putting any other substance near it.
Other than that, it sounds like you've got everything covered :)

Yup, it sounds safe to keep doing and nope, your doing everything right and it won't cause an infection!! If itching start to occur, just go see a doctor and he/she will give you some cream to reduce the itching. Hope I helped :)
