SoNuLiCiOuSsS answered Sunday October 10 2004, 1:18 am: that happend to my computer too... i couldnt use Adobe... & surf the net at the same time... it was too much for my comp... so if u have dial-up... that might be the reason that it freezes... dont have any other programs open when u play sim... try that & see how it works... the answer to ur quesiton is... that u probably dont have enuff memory... You may not have enough memory on your computer, you may need to uninstall some of the sims to play it and make it run smoother, delete unneeded files. If it still isn't working, i suggest returning it and wait till you get a more recent newer computer or newer software.

AquamarineRose answered Saturday October 9 2004, 6:17 pm: It takes up way too much memory to have however many sims games you have and sims 2.So yeah you are going to have to pick which one you really want on your computer because having them both is going to cause some problems... Karen answered Saturday October 9 2004, 6:12 pm: All the Sim games on your computer take up too much memory. You have to delete all of the other Sim games except the first one in order for you to play Sims 2 normally. Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
Mercy_x_Me answered Saturday October 9 2004, 6:09 pm: your computers too stocked on memory. Try deleting basically everything you dont need. GL xoxo ...... and dont uninstall the other sims games, just clean up what you dont need on the comp. or maybe if your comps old thats tha problem??
Trevor-Wolf answered Saturday October 9 2004, 6:08 pm: It depends on how old your system is. Mostg older systems lets say before 2001 or so can't handle much gaming abilitys due to its low amount of RAM and GHz. This is most likely the problem, unless you bring a virus into the picture. Some viruses could cause your system to move extremely slow and your system not to work. If i knew what year your system was or its specifications then I could help you a little better. But these two things are most likely the problem. Hit me up if you need anything more. :) [ Trevor-Wolf's advice column | Ask Trevor-Wolf A Question ]
