lets see..my boyfriend and i just broke up a couple months ago from a 2 year realationship and now he lives in a different state. we still talk a little bit but not like we used to i could tell him nethang and he could do the same..before he left he said that he wouldnt try to find a new g/f because he only wanted me n that he loved me to much to give me up n that he didnt want me to go out with ne1 else either. everywhere i go i find something that reminds me of him i dont go to abercrombie anymore because he always wore "fierce" n so it reminds me of him and other things too.but mi question is should i believe that he doesnt want another g/f or should i try to move on too and let him do the same n see wat happens when he comes back to visit???

Lesliie answered Monday October 4 2004, 5:10 pm: okay...what i see is a little case of jealousy. My advice would be to date around because most likely, he's doing the same thing, he just doesn't want to tell you. I think he said that because he doesn't want you to be happy with anybody else because he was so use to making you happy and he's not yet adapted to the fact that there is distance involved now and since he's gone you might come across somebody else, therefor he's TELLING YOU "don't see anybody else and I wont either," even though we all know that isn't true. Guys will be guys. So be a smart girl, look around and see what else is out there...If the feelings for him are still there when he comes to visit, then try to work out a long distance relationship. Good luck!! [ Lesliie's advice column | Ask Lesliie A Question ]
