MFS answered Wednesday September 22 2004, 9:33 pm: Let's think about this: weed killers are designed to kill plants, because, well... weeds are plants.
Some weedkillers like Roundup are designed to kill grasses. Others, like Weed-B-Gon are general pupose plant killin' machines. Not all of them have the same chemical herbacides in them. You're better off going to something like www.ortho.com, www.scotts.com, or some other gardening oriented site that sells herbacides and read their recommendations. -wizerwordz- answered Wednesday September 22 2004, 9:18 pm: if there is one, it would be very hard to find. most weed killers i know affect most plants within a small area around where they are applied. the best thing to do would to remove the weeds manually, slowly to get the roots out, then get a weed preventer, which usually stops weeds from growing back, and shouldn't affect your plants, but make sure you read all the cautions to make sure.
