Ok. Have you guys ever heard of those ' Self piercing earrings ' ? Do they still have those? Or do you know anyone whos ever had them and do they work? I dont know much about them But i rather do that then get my ears perced with a gun. So if you know where I could get them or whatever please answer this! Thanks

i have three peircings, and they were all done with the gun....i suggest it. its so easy and quick, plus it only hurts for about 5 seconds. ive never heard of the other ones, but ive seen people do their own, and it looks like tourture when i see it. theres really no point in doing it yourself, it cost the same, because you still have to buy the ear ring, plus its much slower and more painful than a quick snap of the fingers that the gun gives you.

if I'm thinking of what you're talking about, then yes, that is how my ears were pierced. I would talk to your doctor. Trust me. He/she will most likely not use a gun, but an earring encased in a small piece of plastic that pushes together using a spring through your ear. The doctor's office is the safest way to go as far as piercings go, but if you do end up either piercing them yourself or going to the mall, make sure of the following things:
1. EVERYTHING IS STERILE. If there's bacteria on that earring/needle you will get an infection.
2. If at the mall and they're using a gun, make sure you get a fresh needle, have them take it out of the package in front of you.
3. Clean ears every day.

if you go to sally's, you can go buy one and do it yourself. i did that too..its this little white thing that comes with 2 earrings that you push together and little plastic pieces come out...exept i never heard of a earring that pierces u. hmm..lemme know what you do. *Bethers*

Yes they still have them- but yor at a much higher risk of infection or messing up or whatever.. and just to warn you i have heard that it hurts wayyyyy worse! You should probably just go to Piercing Pagoda or another piercing place.. its not half as painful!

Well ive heard of them but im not sure where you could get them. Im sure they are still around somewhere. try claires or any place that pierces ears and ask them about it im sure they would know. but yah i heard about it and i heard it works. but if your scared about getting your ears pierced im sure u have heard this but it reall doesnt hurt. Id say its hurts a 3- outt of a 10. IT doesnt hurt when they do it just a little sting afterwards!

Never get anything pierced with a gun!! Its dangerous, go to your local piercing/tattoo parlour. I've never heard of those self peircing earrings but if you can find them try them. And don't get anyhing pierced with a gun.
