College Freshman

Question Posted Sunday August 29 2004, 8:51 pm

I am a week into my freshman year at college. I am so stressed out as to how I am going to get all of my work done and still have time to relax. All of my professors have been saying to come up with a daily schedule and when I did, I don't know if I will be able to fit my homework in just four hours. What do I do? Any advice will be appreciated as to what to do and how to deal with it. My major is Music Education. Thanks!!

is your name... bethany, by chance? nvm...
okay, i don't know WHEN your classes start in the morning, but that's a good time to do it (NOT on the day it's due, though). try to do a little during class while they're teaching about the subject you're doing your work on. when you're done for the day, take it in half hour little schedauls. do it for a half hour, rest for a half hour, then do it again, but increase your work time each time.
this is just an idea, your best guess is to ask someone who's a sophmore or junior about how they survived freshman year.

definitally talk to your professors and ask them to help you out with a schedulle. my older sister is in college and has 2 jobs. she works full time and goes to college classes full time aswell. her schedulle is kinda revolving around her classes. she goes to class - goes to work - goes home and relaxes for about an hour - homework for 2 then sleeps..and does it all over again. there reallie isnt any time to relax during college cuz its reallie preparing you for life. but deff ask your professor..or even roomates!
