i'm in 8th grade and ive been best friends with my next door neighbor since i was in 2nd grade. hes in 9th grade now, and he moved to another neighborhood in our same town..and since last year, ive had a crush on him...and he just moved like 3 months ago, and i never wanted to go out with him when he was my neighbor cause i thought that would be weird. our families are best friends, and now that they have moved and we are still really close, would it be weird to go out with him now?
blondebombshell33 answered Saturday August 28 2004, 4:03 pm: Wierd? No definately not, that is if you still talk to him. But you should let him know how you feel before he gets to close to those other chicks in his neighborhood. I'm guessing that you do still talk to him though since your families are best friends. But sweetie, think about this, do you really want to risk your friendship with your best friend in order to pursue a relationship. I'm just saying that one of my good friends went out with her best guy friend and it endend badly. so they went from best friends, to having a relationship to not even speaking anymore. But i would first let him nkow how you feel. See if he evens does feel the same and if you think that it would affect your friendship. good luck though xoxo, allie [ blondebombshell33's advice column | Ask blondebombshell33 A Question ]
