Hey, I've had razor bumps everywhere I shave, I have really sensitive skin, and I tried a whole bunch of lotions and even some medicine from the dermatologist, but the best stuff that a friend showed me was this stuff called Bump Down. It worked in like a week and I haven't seen a razor bump for like 3 months now. It's really good. You should give it a try.

There are several steps you can take when you want to find out how to get rid of razor bumps. You've taken one of the most important steps by logging onto the Internet. Online you can find all kinds of information about shaving related problems such as razor burn, shaving razor bumps and ingrown hairs. You will also find a large selection of products that treat and prevent these bumps from coming back.

When you want to know How To Get Rid Of Razor Bumps it's always a good idea to ask your barber. Many barbershops carry a line of products to treat shaving related problems. If they don't they can make recommend products that might help you control and heal razor bumps

Asking Your Doctor How to Get Rid of Razor Bumps
You can also ask your doctor how to get rid of razor bumps. In the most severe cases he may suggest a process called laser hair removal. This is a way of stopping the growth of hair in a particular area. When you no longer grow hair, you no longer have to shave. Many doctors prescribe soothing ointments for razor burn treatment. These products contain things like benzyl peroxide to fight the formation of tiny pustules on your skin. They also contain cortisone, steroids and other anti-inflammatory ingredients.

well it all depends on what razor you use and what you use to shave with. if you use like regular soap then that might be why but if you use shaving cream then you're okay. if you use Venus shavers they work really good and one thing that i do is i shave with conditioner. it makes your skin really smoothe. another thing is.... if you use the same razor more than 6 times it starts to develop alot of germs on it and that's what causes the razor bumps... if you have any more questions drop one in my box!

Make sure that you're shaving with a SHARP, not DULL razor head, and shave in the opposite direction that the hair grows. Then you shouldn't have any razor bumps =)

once you already have razor burn you should use lotion on everywhere that you have it, but just to prevent it, you need a sharp razor, shave the direction your hair goes, use shaving lotion and always use skin lotion after your done, withor it hurts or not. but what really helps to get rid of it, is just not to shave for a few days, that way you give the hair time to grow in and its easier to cut, instead of shaving everyday

Try shaving in the other direction, really for shaving down there you won't ever find a good enough razor to make it feel smooth, only awnser is to wax. As for your armpits, you're just shaving in the wrong direction and it's causing you to get irritated. So try shaving in the other direction and hopefully oyu'll get different results!
