dear angie,
i have been having problems with one of my best friends. she just seems to spend WAY to much time with her boyfriend, and she has this new friend named Josie that i totally dont like, i mean me and josie were really good friends, but now it seems like she hates me. and whenever i talk to my best friend, the conversation is ALWAYS about her boyfriend, and what he says, and its really getting annoying, ive tried to tell her this before, but she takes it the wrong way. This school year is going to be so much more different because all her freshman friends are now coming to the highschool...and shes been ignoring me, and a couple of my other friends...just i can't even have a conversation with her anymore, especially now that her boyfriend is coming to our school, i feel so selfish, and sometimes i just get so annoyed that i want them to break up....what should i do?

wow. you sound exactly like me. yeah, its really hard just to look over, and see your bestfriend with..HIM. lets see..you've tried talking to him..and she takes it..the wrong...way. hm...this is tuff.
i say that you really take your bestfriend and really..have a deep, thoughtfull conversation with her, about how you feel like your losing her as a friend, which is what seems to be concering you...
now about josie. i know you dont like her, but try...just try to get along with her. maybe she really doesnt hate you? maybe after a while try talking to her, too. im sure that she realizes how you and your best friend were really close. maybe try inviting josie along, with you and your bestfriend. i know you dont like josie, but..at least you'll be spending some time with your bestfriend.
now...about her boyfriend. yeah, i had a friend that was very, VERY caught up with her boyfriend, so i definetly know how you feel. he really seems to be the light of her life right now, and even though it gets awfully annoying to hear about him, thats oviously all she wants to talk about inthe period of time. i say, so you and your bestfriend can even hold a little bit of a conversation, maybe just try, or even pretend (lol) that your interested in hearing about this kid. ask questions, and..maybe..after she answers them, and getts to talk about just about all there IS to say about him...just maybe she'll find something new to talk about. i really hope i helped!!! if you have ANY more questions..dont be affraid to ask another!! i love helping people...please PLEASE e-mail me..telling if/how i helped you..!!
