Question Posted Friday August 13 2004, 4:43 pm

Ok.. Basically, I REALLY like my best friend. (Yes its a guy.) But..I'm like a totally shy person..I get nervous before i even call him. So how could I tell him I like him with out getting nervous? I want to tell him really bad. I just dont know how too.

=) thanks!

Well, the sucky thing about this is - no matter what, you're going to be incredibly nervous. Remember something though, this guy is your BEST FRIEND. That means you guys are probably comfortable with each other and you trust him a lot. When you get to the point where you're going to tell him, look at him as just a guy that YOU'RE doing a favour to by letting him know someone as good as you likes him. If that doesn't give you enough confidence to do it, pretend you're an actress in a movie and this is just the scene where you tell this guy you care about him. If you really play it out in your head, you'll feel like no matter what the outcome or his reaction - it won't matter because its just pretend right? Give it a try, and remember that he IS just a guy :)
