slicing and dicing, she cuts deeper and deeper,
just one drop of blood will make her happy.
Crying and shaking, she raises the knife,
wishing for the courage to take her own life.
Pushing harder on the blade, trying to die,
she often just sits and wonders why;
Why are people so selfish and hating,
nobody knows the pain she suffers through.
She just wants love, why don't they understand this?,
Crying and trying to die once again,
all she really needs is one caring friend.
Depressed all the time for reasons unknown to herself,
wishing all the pain would just go disappear.
No courage to actually kill herself,
just cutting makes her feel better.
Wishing she could die, not knowing why,
just wanting love and companionship.

I'm a writer not a poet. But we aren't so far apart either. Besides the incredibly depressing topic, it was rather nice. The rhyme was consistent and actually pleasant. I enjoyed the flow of it. Too depressing though, it's almost unoriginal. As a working student/writer I would recommend writing something else from your heart that isn't so unpleasant. Things do not have to be shocking to be attention grabbing. They don't even have to be super happy either. If you were pushing for drama then ease up and be yourself. I know I put some criticisms in there, but they are just constructive recommendations. And hey, if you write anything else that isn't emo-death, send it to me. I'd be happy to read it.

your an amazing writer, I could see her standing there. As for if that is true you can't do that it isn't good for you I know how you feel I used to cut myself too just to releave the pain that I was going through with my life but you need to go to a counsler and talk to them about it. it helps and maybe get some sort of animal that you can love to take your mind away from the pain, anyway if it is just a story you are a beautiful writer and I can accually picture it! good luck with this hope I helped :)

Okay wow...this is something I've never had experience with, so i'm gonna try my best...
It seems like you think that killing yourself would be the best course of action. Whatever you do, don't do it. Though life may seem hard and unbearable and that you are totally alone, stop thinking that. There are people in the world that care and would not want to lose you. Life does get better, even though it doesn't seem like it ever will.
And as for the cutting, you really need to stop. It's dangerous to your health and you don't want to do something that may give you a temporary fix from the pain you are experiencing. Please, try to get some professional help. Doing this to yourself won't help and you need to focus on feeling better. I wish you all the luck in the world and just hold on. You'll be happy if you do.
