Question Posted Wednesday August 11 2004, 4:54 pm

I am extremely scared to say it but, about a month ago i was raped. I know who it is that did it but, the problem is i am not sure how to tell my parents. I came out of the situation with minor injuries but i don't know how i am going to tell my parents. I really do want to tell them i'm just not sure how they'll take it. I never even told the police and no one ever found out. Please Help!

im so sorry to hear that! .. you deff. need to tell your parents .. its always hard telling your parents something that your uncomfortable talking about but the longer you wait the harder it will be .. im sure they wont get mad at you because it wasnt your choice and it was forced upon you .. you need to tell the police too if you know who this is because if you don't he will keep on doing it to other people .. i really hope this helps and good luck with everything .. love always - Erica
