ok i rele need help.. i like this guy and he said that he liked me too.. but i heard that he just made out with sumbody i know.. i dont know whether i should still like him or just give up cuz hes "confused".. help!!!! what should i do?

okay like, i have this problem where i'm friends with people but i pick up on things that piss me off and i hear things from other people about that certain person and it makes me see them differntly. i dont want to be judgemental but sometimes i can't help it

i met this kid in june, we started talking on the fone at a frends and he seemed rely nice and i wanted to get to kno him so i gave him my number, after a few days he started callin 24/7 and i told him to stop calling me, so like a month went by and i started talking to him again and now we talk a lot . . i think i mite like him but hees never seen me and i think tht if he saw me he wouldnt like me . . i dont think im completly ugly but i dont think i fit his " perfect " girl image, i want to meet him but im scared he will never talk to me again if he thinks im ugly . . please help !!

Hi Erica .. well, here it goes. There's this guy, lets say his name is Luke. Luke is really cute and he's a yaer older than me, sometimes he is sweet to me but just to prove to his boys that he's tough sometimes he is really mean. His younger sister, Michelle, is my best friend (she's 2 years younger than him.) Anyways, to my sister and Michelle he makes fun of them but to me he just teases me a little, nothing too bad. When we all went out last week he kept following me and stuff and staring at me and telling me to race with him and trying to make me catch him. I don't know, everyone says it looks like he likes me but he wont admit it to my sister or anyone else. His 'boys' won't tell me either. They say he has a girlfriend named 'Ashley Marks' but Michelle would know because they go to the same school and she never seen any girl named Ashley marks with him and she says its a lie. I really want to go out with him but if he doesn't admit it I won't get too far. And also i really can't tell him I like him unless he tells me first because my mother said not to because she doesn't want people at her office to thinkim a huge flirt...(his mom and dad work for my mom and dad) I want him to tell SOMEONE he likes me and I want to know if he likes me...help.
well guys can get like that a lot .. when your alone they can be really sweet and then once theyr with their boys they can be very mean .. but from what you said it does sound like he might like you .. and im sure his sister can tell when he acts different and when he likes some one .. if he keeps being flirty with you then thats a good sign! .. the best way to see if he likes you back is to just tell him! .. it doesnt have to get back to your mom and her work .. ask him to promise not to tell .. his parents dont need to find out and if they do then i dont really think your moms work will think your a huge flirt .. thats the way kids are these days .. so if i were you i would just go for it and tell him .. its the only way to see if he likes you too! i hope this helps .. love always - Erica
Hey Erica I like the setup of your page it's a realy great idea to do an advice column. I have a question about something kind of important, I think im fat and i rele want to lose weight quick but i dont know anyway to get the results i need. I've tried dieting and exercising but nothing helps to the extent i need it to help. I've considered going anerexic many times but i know that it's extremly harmful. I feel like not eating is the only way.
thanx :) .. but noooo definitely dont become anerexic! its not good for you at all and can lead to long term problems! .. the best way to loose weight is just to eat healthier and exercise more .. i know you said that you already tried that but just keep trying it might take a little longer and probably after a while you will see results .. eat healthy foods for breakfast lunch and dinner and for snacks try eating like fruit and vegetables instead of chips or something .. go for a run or go swimming .. just dont give up if you dont see immediate results .. give it time and im sure you'll lose weight! just never ever starve yourself - its not good!!! .. i hope this helped and good luck ! love always - Erica
Well, I'm really good with guys when we're not going out. I can think of anything really quick to make them laugh and to have a good conversation. But when we start dating I freeze up. i even try to pretend that I'm not dating him and he's just my friend so I can act like I was before. But i get so speechless! its like i dont want to say anything stupid or embarassing..
