You know sometimes when people think that getting high is cool or getting drunk? Well, sometimes I only do it because they do and I want them to like me and think that i'm cool. Is that completely wrong of me, to want to fit in?

Well, I think getting high & getting drunk are both relly stupid...If you feel like you need to fit in around them because they drink & do drugs then these are not the kind of people you belong with in the first place, I think you should try to talk to your friends about it and if they understand then thats cool, but if not then you should find some other friends that support your decision..
