Question Posted Sunday August 8 2004, 2:28 pm

I think I'm falling for my exboyfriends best friend. We're all really close and whatever... So I feel really lost. One of my good friends told me that I should go with what I want, but I'm not sure. I do know what I want, but I also don't want people getting hurt. ahh...

Do what u think is right. Who cares if its ur Ex-BFs BFF... if ur over the ex.. then do what u want.. dont let it bother u that its his friend.. that shouldnt matter. But of course.. if ur not over the ex.. then thats a WHOLE nother story. LOL

Hope I was of some help!!! Drop one in the inbox if u need anything else!!

Yeah, I could see wheRe that may stiR up some big pRoblems. You shouldn't feel bad foR it, and if it feels Right you Really ought to go foR it. HoweveR, it'd be best if you have this guy talk to youR exboyfRiend to see how he would feel about the two of you dating. I hope things woRk out! Hopefully I helped!

well ive had my friend do this to me a couple times and it hurts so try tlking to her about it. if she doesn t like the idea try to stop talking to him n stuff like that and tell him your not intersted once he likes sum1 else it may be wasier for u to too. also sometimes people just like other people cuz that person likes them so make sure that u like this person for real before mentioning it to ur friend but remember she will prolli be mad. she may even tell u she doesnt care wen she does so listen carefully and try not to hurt her

Well, I've been there. Well I am there. My current boyfriend is two of my ex-boyfriends good friend.. so yea. I'd say just go for it. You have to go with what your heart tells you. I was worried about hurting people too.. but it all turned out okay =) If you need to, look at the positives and negatives of the situations and see how it turns out ;). Hope I helped *Amber*

Well to be honest, its not exactly cheating, you know? But I can see how your ex would get hurt. Here's what I would do, if you are as close to your ex as you say, then talk to him first. Find out if he would be comfortable with you dating his best friend. If not then I wouldn't go for it. Good luck I hope it all works out for ya.
