Go to Column settings, then scroll down until you see your column colors then it should say If you're confused about colors, there's a nice website about how these work over here. Pick out some colors you like and write them down. Then Where it says page background and page text and all that put down the codes that you just wrote down after that press submit colors. Still confused? You can also press default yellows or soft blues... they will do all the work for you. Hope I've helped.

Alrite there's a few things you can do for your background. First you go to column settings and then scroll down to the part where you have to enter codes. If you don't want to mess around with picking out your own colors you can use a color scheme they already have. It should be on the right side of the screen and you just click on the color you want and the codes will automatically come up. Or if you want to choose your own background and stuff they have a link you can click on. Click there and pick your own colors out and type the codes you want in the boxes. But if you don't want a single colored background the when you find your background the link goes under 'Page Background Image(URL)' Well I hope you understand all that & let me know if you need anything else! <*brianna*>

Yeah, it took me a while to figure out the colours, as well. Alright, well, first you go into "Column Settings". Then you go down to the bottom where all the colour schemes are. Then it should say "If you're confused...about how these work over here" and the last part should be a hyperlink. You click in there, and there are all these different colours with their own little code. So you pick out a pink that you like, copy the code next to it, and then go back to "Column Settings" and paste that code in the boz where is says "Page Background Colour" (if you wanted a pink background). That's all. It's pretty simple once you know what to do. Hope it looks good!
