Dear Owl,
Why is it that guys are always such morons? I've had two online "romances" now, all with a chance to meet me in real life, but somehow it never works out! Am I just a failure at everything I do and people hate me? I mean, ok, so I'm pathetic enough to only manage to have relationships with the opposite sex online... but these people really mean something to me, and then they always disappoint me. All I ever wanted was a little respect and love from people... just for them to show they care... but I'm always the one doing all the work... no one calls, no one emails... I'm all alone :'(

I'm sorry to say but men are as bad as you make them out to be. As a majority, they suck at life. But perhaps you need to venture away from those online relationships. Its hard, I know, but you have to get out there, find a guy who will treat you as you deserved to be treated. If you have trouble finding some to start a relationship with on your own, you may want to try a dating service. Either online or a physical company that arranges these sorts of things. You're not a failure, and I doubt that everyone hates you. Secondly, if you're the one doing the work, especially with friends then you need to get some new friends. Try my suggestions, and I'm sorry if they don't work. Or its possible that Mr. Right is staring you right in the face, and you don't know it. But be strong I have faith that you'll be on the right path. Good luck.
