im going into highschool and i know that colleges always look at ur extra activities so i wanted to join something at my new high school.. but all the sports ive ever done ive never really kept up with and never been very good at.. also i want to lose a few pounds while doing it!! anyone have any ideas?

Maybe give some free advice about: Sports? flower answered Sunday March 20 2005, 1:25 am: hey that is a great idea to support your school lose weight and be college concious but be sure you also do whatever sport you are going to do to have fun because if you are not having fun wiht what you are doing you are likely not to be good in that sport!some suggestions i have are track and feild(this is what i am currently doing there are many events to do within the sport) volleyball very aggresive sport but so much fun i hope i have helped have a great weekend.

It has a lot of different stuff you can do (hurdles, sprinting, distance, shot put, and other field events) You have the right attitude about extra activities - so instead of sports, maybe you can try to join some clubs? Those are two very important activities to colleges. But if your set on sports, try something simple.
