SexyHal answered Friday July 2 2004, 7:23 pm: well first off you need to see if you can get a lite color carpet and if you cant then i guess thats okay and you would need a really lite color paint on your walls...you could add mirrors and keep your stuff up against the walls so you have room to move around and it doesnt look like everything is in the middle of your floor.

Mirrors are great. Get the largest mirror you can find and stick it on one wall. Put mirrors in the corner as well.
Keep your furniture to the sides too, I suppose. Don't stick your bed in the middle of the room, but shove into a corner.

sunny answered Thursday July 1 2004, 7:57 pm: fill one off your walls with mirrors that makes it look bigger and keep it kinda clean. and see if you can get rid of the carpet but if you cant then paint your walls a light color that goes with the shade of greeen carpet you have.you could paint your room like the sky and pretend your carpet is grass and your outside hey the outside worled is spacius maybe itll work.have fun be creative [ sunny's advice column | Ask sunny A Question ]
AquamarineRose answered Thursday July 1 2004, 7:37 pm: First off I tell you how not to make it seem smaller.Don't clutter it.And never paint the walls back. There are probably many more rules but I can't remember them all.To make your room seem bigger paint the walls a pretty color like blue or ssomething that doesn't enclose the room. But being since you have green carpet(I feel for you) make sure the paint color doesn't clash.
