Question Posted Sunday June 27 2004, 8:33 pm

Does any one know of any cute make-up styles to wear for a casual date? I have a budget but I do have a lot of products. Can any one help me?

I think for a casual date, you should go for the natural makeup look. By that I mean, not apply too much makeup and by picking neutral colors.

-For your eyes, you should apply a little bit of liner (brown if you have blonde or red hair, and dark brown or black if you have brown or black hair) on the top and bottom. Then you should curl your lashes and apply a little bit of mascara. You should skip wearing eyeshadow, but if you are one of those people that has to wear eyeshadow, apply a light neutral color, like champagne.

-For your face you should put a tiny bit of light foundation on, just to the point where it looks like you aren't wearing any but it evens out your skin. If you don't like foundation or are blessed with perfect skin, try a tinted moisturizer just for evenness. Apply a pinkish colored blush to the apples of your cheeks, and at the top of your forehead, and bottom of your chin for a glow.

-For lips, since it's summer and pink gloss is in style, first put on some lip balm to make lips soft then apply a pinkish colored lipgloss. The pink can range from light pink to hot pink.

You don't have to spend a million dollars on buying clinique and MAC makeup to achieve this look. In fact, you can go to the dollar stor and get great makeup for a cheap price. Some cheap but good brands of makeup to look for are: NYC and covergirl.

Hope this helps :/

Medium on the eyes. Maybe a smokey grey (if you have blue, grey, or green eyes, or a smokey brown if you have brown or hazel eyes. Go with a shiny gloss for your lips, but nothing sticky. make sure you have an eyeliner that matches your lashes (or your mascara). It'll draw attention to your beautiful eyes. (Hey, it worked for me!)
Or if you like your lips more than your eyes, go with just a light shimmery eyeshadow and maybe a slightly pink lipstick. I'd go for the eyes more, though.
Have fun!

a natural kind of glow is cute.. for a casual one or just like light eye shadow and eye liner and a light bit of mascara always looks cute but not too much..

Hey make-up! well a make-up style you could try for your eyeshadow is to put te main color at the bottom of you eyelid to the crease in your eyes. then put a lighter version of that color up from the crease to your eyebrow. if you do not have a lighter version of that color then you should put white/silver. on your lips you should put a light pink or a clear lip gloss.

If you normally wear makeup then I would go with smokey eyes and a nuetral colored lip gloss. If you don't normally wear makeup which I can't imagine if you have a lot of products go for something a little less daring.Or you can go with colors.Nothing too bright though. And try it out before you go on your date.....oh and always have a back up plan.

I say go for the brighter colors on the date. When I wear pink shirts I love wearing pink glittery shadow and liner and peachy blush with pink gloss! It looks great!! Another good idea is no blue eyeshadow, you dont want to look like youre from the 80's!!
