recently, i just found out that, i had more than just friends feeling for my best friend, who is a guy. he says he likes me too, and he gives me mixed signals. also, all my friends hate him, and make fun of him. what do i do

If you are a guy, just wait and see what happens between you.. who cares if your friends don't like him? They're still talking to you, so it isn't like they are going to stop just because of you talking to that guy. Anyway, like I said, if you are a guy maybe you're bi or gay.
If you're a girl, then go out with him. Your friends don't run your life and can't tell you who to like, you do. Tell them that you like him and that you don't feel comfortable with them making fun of him. Also, why do they hate him? Resolve that problem and then continue with telling them that you like the guy.
