Hi ok well I got a problem. I was friends with this one guy for 5 years. We were good friends and we have a lot of memories. This past year he changed and he never talks to me anymore. I didn't do anything. I miss him so much and I just want him to know that I love him, but hes totally changed. I don't know what to do.

It hurts so much to see a close friends fade away when nothing happened. It's not you that did anything, it's him. You said that he changed, so obviously he backed off on your friendship. Let him know that you miss and love him. Write him an e-mail, AIM him, call him. Just tell him how you're feeling. Because if you don't he will never know he's doing something wrong. If he respects you enough, he will attempt to become closer to you and talk to you more. If he doesn't it might be time to take a break from him. People change all throughout your life. Some of your friends will remain with you forever, some will change and some will let go. But if your friend really cares about you he will come back and realize what a huge mistake he's making. Maybe he's just at a time in his life where he can't seem to find out who he really is. Let him know that you'll try to be understanding, and if this is the case then you'll give him some free time. Because he might just need a break. I'm sorry about his actions, I know it must be difficult for you. But let me know what happens! Love you- Mandee </span> [ Mandee's advice column | Ask Mandee A Question ]
