It might be a good idea to let him say some things because what he wants to say should be of importance to you. It will show him you do care as a friend and will let him say what he needs to say. You probably know how it is to love someone but they don't like you that way. It hurts. And it's tough to get over. Maybe introduce this guy to a friend of yours? Who knows, maybe they will hit it off and that will have him give you some space. Falling for his friend might make matters worse for the guy who is hurt because it's hard to see a person you love with one of your friends. Some jealousy could occur. Take things slow if you are willing to be in a relationship with his friend. And make sure his friend spends time with him so he won't feel let out. Unfortunally there is not a whole lot you can do to help him. When someone is hurt emotionally it's their own problem to deal with. But try to do as much as you can. Good luck with the other guy! Talk to him in a firm tone and let him know that things were good while they lasted but a mistake and that you'd like to have him only as a friend. Be sure to assert yourself...don't let him frustrate you. As for the 15 year old...whatever you do...don't let him go!! If both of you like each other then don't let anything or anyone come between you guys...hope i was of help... [ SilverTears's advice column | Ask SilverTears A Question ]
