Question Posted Tuesday June 8 2004, 11:59 am

There is this person that I really like, and I am preety sure they like me too. But we both are to afraid to say anything to go out because we don't want to ruin our friendship. What should I do.

take the chance. make the jump. do what you feel is right. i did something similar with a friend of mine. we never really started dating but we hooked up a coupla times. i dont regret it. i would have regretted it more, had i not done it, because then i'd never have known what could have happened.

You could approach it in a very casual way. Ask them if they are going out with anyone on a Friday or Saturday night(for a date). If they say "no", you could say, "I'm not going out with anyone either. Want to take me out?" If they agree, go and have fun! If they don't take you seriously, then you can blow it off as a jest or maybe it will get them thinking about you in a different way......?

I had that same problem. I guess its up to you. You have to think to yourself though do you want this to ruin yallz relationship as friends if something happens with you and his relationship. If yall think its both the right thing to do then go for it!
